FAQs

  • What is the language of instruction?

We explain to English speakers in English, and to French, Dutch and German speakers who don't speak English in French, Dutch and German respectively.

  • Is it possible to register alone?
    Yes, you can register alone
  • Can I register with a partner?
Yes, you can register with a partner
  • Do you organise courses during the summer holidays?
Yes, we sometimes organise "special courses" during the summer holidays which are independent of the regular group courses. So if you go on holiday in the summer you don't lose any classes. You can still take these courses if you wish.
  • Are there any classes on Easter Sunday?
No, there are no classes on Easter Sunday or on the last two Sundays in December, but private lessons are available for those who wish.
  • If I register today, do I have to start today or this week?
No, if you register you are not obliged to start the week you have registered for. During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a start date on the calendar, which will then count as your first day. So, for example, you could enrol in March and choose September as your start date, and that September date would then count as the first day of your course.
  • What level should I choose if I've never danced anything?
If you've never danced anything before, choose the beginners level.
  • What level should I choose if I've danced before?
If you've danced before, choose the level recommended by your instructor. If you're from elsewhere, choose the beginners level or send us an e-mail.
  • Are the courses online or in person?
Registration is online, which saves time, but the courses are in person.
  • How frequently should I attend?
We recommend attending at least once a week to build and maintain your skills.
  • Can I register directly for the intermediate course?
To enroll in the intermediate course, you need to have followed our beginners' course.
  • Are we well looked after during our development?

Yes, you are well monitored. You receive regular feadback on our academic platform

  • How many times do I have to pay for the same level?
With us you don't pay for the level but for the material. If you know the difference between your right foot and your left foot, you won't need to repeat a level - our courses are sufficiently structured. If, in an exceptional situation, the instructor considers that you have to repeat a level, you no longer pay for the lessons you attended, you repeat them free of charge. So with us, you don't pay twice for the same class you have attended. Your last session in our courses should have taken place less than 16 weeks ago, otherwise you are considered to be new.
  • If I have to repeat a level because I've been absent?
Well, you'll have to pay only for the sessions for wich you were absent.
  • If I sign up for ballroom dance, do I have to commit to a full year?
No, you are not required to commit for the entire year. Although 8 classes are for payment convenience, ballroom dance classes extend over the year, but you are not obligated to attend all year; you can choose to follow 8 classes, or 16 classes, or 24 classes, etc. With us, you are free to continue whenever you want. You can also follow for many years if you want.
  • Can I register for multiple dances classes at the same time?
Yes, but since each dance class has its own separate schedule, you will need to register for them one by one. So, add one dance class to your cart, register for it, then add the other dance class to your cart and register for that one as well. Please do not add two different dances classes to the cart at the same time, as each dance class has its own schedule.
  • Which is the best way to learn dancing? Learn the basics of all the dances and then gradually learn more on each of them ? Or Learn one dance at a time?
All depends on where you are going to be dancing. If you are going to go out to Salsa clubs, or Bachata clubs, focus on salsa and the stuff that is at the clubs you go to Salsa and Bachata. Otherwise you're going to spend a lot of time watching other people dancing. If you go dancing somewhere where they are playing mixed ballroom music, you're going to spend a lot of time watching other people dance unless you learn many of them.
